RESOLUTION 08-161
APPROVING THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT'S NAME MODIFICATION TO THE
DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,due to continued growth and development within Waukee and need to reorganize
the City operations,City staff recommends that the Planning Department's title be modified to
the Development Service Department to more reflect the activities on the Department;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has determined that the Planning Director's title will be
replaced by the title Development Services Director,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 7th day of July,2008 that it hereby approves the Planning Department's title be modified
to the Development Service Department,
BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED that the Planning Director's title will be replaced by the title
Development Services Director.
