RESOLUTION 08-149
APPROVAL OF CERTIFICATES OF APPRECIATION FOR YEARS OF SERVICE
FOR EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE WORKED A CERTAIN NUMBER OF YEARS FOR
THE CITY OF WAUKEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee wishes to renew its pledge to recognize employees who have
served the City and its residents with dedication,enthusiasm and longevity;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee would like to recognize those individuals who,as ofthis year,
have completed a certain number of years of service to the City:
Linda Mack,Library -20 years
Bob Herrick,Public Works -15 years
Bill Daggett,Police -10 years
Lee Perkins,Public Works -10 years
John Gibson,Public Works -10 years
Troy Winters,Public Works -10 years
Scott Cunningham,Police -5 years
Kathy Ostring,Utilities -5 years;AND,
WHEREAS,these individuals have served Waukee with dignity and honor,and have
accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the City of Waukee,its practices and procedures,and
the residents of our community;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7th day of July 2008 that it hereby approves the recognition of those employees who have worked
diligently for the Citizens of Waukee during the past years.
