APPROVING THE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT TO
THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO BEGIN THE
PROCESS OF FILLli"iG SAID POSITIOr""i
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,due to unprecedented and continued growth and development within Waukee and
because of the removal of the Community Development Director position,City staff recommend
that the position of Assistant to the City Administrator be created;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has reviewed the job description for the position of
Assistant to the City Administrator and fmds it appropriate;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 7th day of July,2008 that it hereby approves the job description for the position of
Assistant to the City Administrator;j
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the position's Salary Range will be set at 57.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council directs the City Administrator to begin
the process of filling the position of Assistant to the City Administrator.
