RESOLUTION 08-155
APPROVING,PURSUANT TO IOWA CODE §364.12(2)(a),THE TEMPORARY
CLOSING OF ARROWHEAD DRIVE FROM PAINTED WOODS DRIVE EAST TO
THE EASTERN SIDE LOT LINE OF 370 ARROWHEAD DRIVE ON SATURDAY,
JULY 12,2008 BETWEE:r~THE HOURS OF 3:00 p.rd.MID 11:00 P.IVr.FOR THE
PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Holly Showalter,315 Arrowhead Drive,requests the temporary closure of
Arrowhead Drive from Painted Woods Drive east to the eastem side lot line of 370 Arrowhead
Drive for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,the street will be closed between the hours of3:00 p.m.and 11:00 p.m.on
Saturday,July 12,2008;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.l2(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7th day of July 2008 that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Arrowhead Drive from
Painted Woods Drive east to the eastem side lot line of 370 Arrowhead Drive on Saturday,July
12,2008 between the hours of 3 :00 p.m.and 11 :00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block
party.
