RESOLUTION 05-144 ]
APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO THE 2001 WAUKEE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN BY CHANGING THE ZONING DESIGNATION FROM URBAN RESERVE
AND COMMERCIAL TO SINGLE FAMILY URBAN RESIDENTIAL ON A
PORTION OF PROPERTY TO BE KNOWN AS PAINTED WOODS PLATS 2 AND
3
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,has a Comprehensive
Plan in place to guide the City in its future development;AND,
WHEREAS,the current designation of a large portion of the land to be known as Painted
Woods Plats 2 and 3 is "Urban Reserve"and "Commercial";AND,
WHEREAS,a "Single Family Urban Residential"designation would be consistent with
the proposed rezoning of that portion of the property from A -I [Agricultnral District]to a
R-I [Single Family Residential District],
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa that the Amendment to the 2001 Waukee Comprehensive Plan is approved to reflect
the rezoning of a portion of property to be known as Painted Woods Plats 2 and 3.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 1st day of
August 2005.
