RESOLUTION 08-182
RESOLUTION VACATING STORM SEWER EASEMENT WITHIN
GLYNN VILLAGE PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,a Storm Sewer Easement for a public storm sewer was dedicated to the City upon
the platting of certain land known as Glynn Village Plat 1,located within the City of Waukee,
Iowa;AND
WHEREAS,the storm sewer previously constructed has been relocated as a part of the
development of certain land known as Glynn Village Plat 3,located within the City of Waukee,
Iowa and a new easement has been acquired for the relocated improvements;AND
WHEREAS,no public infrastructure will be located within the Storm Sewer Easement
described as:
Commencing as a point of reference at the Southeast Corner of Lot 67 in said Glynn
Village Plat 3 being the Northeast Corner of said Outlot "C"on the West right-of-way line
of Snyder Street;thence S24°50'02"W,39.56 feet along the East line of said Outlot "C";
thence continuing S24°50'02"W,20.00 feet along the East line of said Outlot "C";thence
N65°06'59"W,77.86 feet;thence N24°53'01"E,20.00 feet;thence S65°06'59"E,77.84
feet to the point of beginning;AND
)
WHEREAS,after publication of notice of hearing as required by law,a public hearing was held
conceming the vacation of the StOlID Sewer Easement described herein on this the 4th day of
August,2008,and after hearing,the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa finds there is no
further public need for the easement described herein and the same should be vacated.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Public Utility Easement described as:

should be and the same is hereby vacated.
