RESOLUTION 05-145
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR
GRANT PARK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Final Plat for
Grant Park provided the paving and improvements to L.A.Grant Pkwy and the 312111 Street
intersection are completed prior to City Council review on July 12,2005;AND,
WHEREAS,Wally Pelds of Leo Pelds Engineering Company is requesting the Waukee City
Council to approve the fmal plat for the Grant Park Subdivision;AND;

1.Dredging the pond
2.Lowering of the Qwest fiber and phone lines
3.Relocation of the guide wire by MidAmerican Energy
4.Completion of the radius paving at the 312'h Street and L.A.Grant Parkway intersection
5.Easements need to be obtained for the 312lh Street and L.A.Grant Parkway intersection;AND,
]WHEREAS,the developer has supplied a cash bond for the following incomplete items:
WHEREAS,the developer has provided bonds,easements and legal documents for the plat and
they have been reviewed by both the City Engineer and City Attorney;AND,
WHEREAS,the Final Plat for Grant Park is in general conformance with section §303 -Land
Subdivision Ordinance ofthe Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
that the Final Plat for Grant Park be approved with the understanding that no Certificates of
Occupancy will be issued until the Qwest fiber and phone lines are moved from the drainage
swale.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 8th day of August
2005.
