RESOLUTION 08-201
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES BY AND
BETWEEN FOTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENVIRONMENT,LLC,AND THE CITY
OF WAUKEE RELATED TO ALICE'S ROAD PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS,
ASHWORTH ROAD TO UNIVERSITY AVENUE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas Couuty,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is actively pursuing the construction of the extension of
Alice's Road from University Avenue south to the proposed interchange at the intersection of
IOSth Street/Alice's Road and Interstate 80 (a project known as the Alice's Road Corridor
Project);AND,
WHEREAS,the first phase of the Alice's Road Corridor Project shall consist of the section
from Ashworth Road north to University Avenue;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommend retaining the services of Foth Infrastructure and
Environment,LLC,for the conceptual development,traffic review and analysis,preliminary
survey and mapping,preliminary design,final plans and specifications of the first phase of the
Alice's Road Corridor Project;AND,
WHEREAS,the engineering services agreement has been reviewed and approved by the
Waukee City Attomey;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Couucil of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Engineering Services by and between Foth Infrastructure and Environment,LLC,
and the City of Waukee related to Alice's Road Pavement Improvements,Ashworth Road to
University Avenue is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 18th day of August
2008.
