RESOLUTION 08-197
APPROVING A STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND
ARCHITECT FOR A RESIDENTIAL OR SMALL COMMERCIAL PROJECT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE AND FEH ASSOCIATES,INC.,FOR THE
WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY MANDERS PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on July 21,200S,the Waukee City Council approved a Gift Agreement between
the Stine Foundation,Harold Manders,Waukee Library Board of Trustees and City of Waukee
related to a gift of sports memorabilia and historical material from Mr.Manders (Resolution #OS-
165);AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends retaining the services of FEH Associates,Inc.,for the
design,documentation and construction administration of a museum addition to the Waukee
Public Library in order to house the Manders collection;AND,
WHEREAS,an agreement with FEH Associates,Inc.,has been reviewed and approved by the
Waukee City Attorney;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect for a Residential or Small
Commercial Project between the City of Waukee and FEH Associates,Inc.,for the Waukee
Public Library Manders Project is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the ISth day of August
200S.
