RESOLUTION 05-157
APPROVING 28E AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE AND
THE CITY OF WEST DES MOINES FOR PROVISION OF INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SERVICES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,this agreement,originally approved for one year at a cost of $40,000 on
July 12,2004 through Resolution 04-156,is a voluntary,joint undertaking to continue to
operate information technology support services,which are to be provided by West Des
Moines to Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,this three year agreement will be paid by the City of Waukee to West Des
Moines at the rate of$41,200 for the first year,$42,436 for the second year,and $43,709
for the third year;AND,
WHEREAS,the obligations and duties arising from this agreement will be honored by
each community,one to the other,as appropriate;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee City staff in all departments are pleased with the working
relationship and the technology accomplishments of the past year and would like to see
the agreement continue,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 29th day of August 2005 that it hereby approves pursuant to Chapter 28E of
the Iowa State Code a 28E Agreement with the City of West Des Moines for the
provision of Information Technology Support Services.
