RESOLUTION 05-155
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A JOHN DEERE LOADER,MODEL 544J
FROM MURPHY TRACTOR AND EQUIPMENT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $69,175.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State oflowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the 1991 model loader currently being used by Public Works,on the
schedule for equipment maintenance and replacement,is to be replaced this year;AND,
WHEREAS,ofthe two bids received for replacement of the loader,the bid of Murphy
Tractor and Equipment was $690 less than the bid received from Mid Land Equipment;
AND,
WHEREAS,the loader bid from Murphy Tractor includes a quick attach coupling
system,3 yard bucket and 60"construction fork.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa that the purchase of a John Deere Loader Model 544J with a quick attach coupling
system,3 yard bucket,and 60"construction fork options in the amount of$69,175 be
approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 29th day of
August 2005.
