RESOLUTION 08-214
AMENDING ESTABLISHED FEES AND CHARGES FOR USE OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE COMMUNITY CENTER(S)
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee maintains community center(s)for use by the public;AND,
WHEREAS,on August 18,2008,the Waukee City Council approved a resolution establishing
fees and charges for use of the City of Waukee community center(s)(Resolution #08-198);
AND,
WHEREAS,City staff has since met with persons representing groups that use the community
center(s)on a regularly scheduled basis;AND,
WHEREAS,said persons request that an additional,discounted fee structure be added for
routine users of the community center(s)that do not meet the criteria for the waiving of fees as
established by the City Council in Resolution #08-198.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
that the fees and charges for the use of the City's community center(s)shall be amended to read
as follows:

Per Hour $40 $80
Side Room -Half Day $40 $80
Routine Weekly $60 $120

Routine Monthly Half Day $100 $220
Deposit $150 $300
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED that the fees and charges shall be approved pending future approval
by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,of clarification of the term "routine user"and
of the routine weekly fee.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the Sth day of
September,200S.
