RESOLUTION 05-167
APPROVING CONSIDERATION OF CONTRACT WITH ETC INSTITUTE
FOR DIRECTION FINDER®CITIZEN SATISFACTION SURVEY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is interested in determining the level of citizen
satisfaction with services provided by the various departments of the City;AND,
WHEREAS,the City is also interested in knowing the priorities for continuation or
improvement of a service already being offered or for beginning a service not yet
available in the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,the ETC Institute specializes in providing govemments with GIS mappings
of respondents,importance-satisfaction analysis of the survey results and benchmarking
services when comparing with regional and national data;AND,
WHEREAS,the interpretation of the results,the mapping of respondents and the
benchmarking with other communities throughout the region and nationally are the key
components of the ETC Institute Direction Finder®Citizen Satisfaction and will provide
the City with an assessment of citizen satisfaction with the delivery of major city services
and will help determine priorities as part of the ongoing planning process.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 12th day of September 2005 that it hereby approves the Contract with ETC
Institute for Direction Finder®Citizen Satisfaction Survey.
