RESOLUTION 05-180
APPROVING ADDENDUM TO CURRENT PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
LEASE AGREEMENT WITH DOWNING DEVELOPMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Department of Public Works was given the opportunity to move to a
smaller space with a reduced monthly rental by Downing Development,Ltd.;AND,
WHEREAS,the area to be leased is located at 125 NE Venture Drive,Suite H and I,
comprising an area of 4,000 square feet,which is to rented at a base monthly rent of
$1,186.67 per month plus $563.33 additional per month for a total monthly payment of
$1,750;AND,
WHEREAS,the addendum to the original lease becomes effective on September 14,
2005 and shall continue for a term of 24-months ending September 13,2007 unless
terminated sooner.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of September 2005 that it hereby approves the addendum to the
lease agreement dated November 4,2004.
