APPROVING FIREWORKS PERMIT FOR THE WAUKEE HIGH SCHOOL
BAND -PYROTECHNICS TO BE USED DURING THE HIGH SCHOOL BAND
COMPETITION BEING HELD AT THE WAUKEE HIGH SCHOOL PRACTICE
FOOTBALL FIELD,OCTOBER 15,2005
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Ray Hague,a representative of the high school marching band requested a
Fireworks Permit for the Waukee High School Marching Band;AND,
WHEREAS,an application for the Fireworks Permit was completed,$10.00 permit fee
was paid and a Certificate of Liability Insurance was presented;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee Marching Band will be utilizing 6 -2"Comets and 6 -2"Mines
for Close Proximity Effects.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
special session this 11th day of October 2005 and subject to the provisions of Section
727.2 of the Code ofIowa,hereby approves the application for Display of Fireworks
submitted by the Waukee High School Marching Band.1
