RESOLUTION 05-211
DIRECTING INSTALLATION OF SIDEWALKS AND STORM SEWER AT
SUGAR CREEK APARTMENTS ON L.A.GRANT PARKWAY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,The Sugar Creek Apartments are located on L.A.Grant Parkway and are
adjacent to developed properties on both the north and south sides,AND,
WHEREAS,Storm sewer and sidewalk have not been installed at the Sugar Creek
Apartments as of this date,AND,
WHEREAS,The lack of sidewalk at this location is an impediment to people living
south of the Sugar Creek Apartments and who desire to walk to or from Centennial Park,
Waukee Schools and other facilities,AND,
WHEREAS,The approved Site Plan for the Sugar Creek Apartments indicates that
sidewalks are to be installed at the direction of the City,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 14th day of November,2005 that it hereby directs the installation of storm
sewer and sidewalk at the Sugar Creek Apartments on L.A.Grant at the earliest
practicable date in 2005 or early 2006.
