RESOLUTION 05-208
APPROVING THE REQUEST OF MR.STEVE GERBERICH TO INSTALL A
TEMPORARY SCULPTURE AT TRIANGLE PARK FOR THE THANKSGIVING AND
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS,WITH AN INSTALLATION DATE OF NOVEMBER 19,
2005
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Steve Gerberich is an installation artist and native of Waukee,Iowa;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.Gerberich has requested that he be allowed to install a large,temporary
sculpture entitled "Waukee Tree Angle"at Triangle Park for tbe Thanksgiving and Christmas
holiday season;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee fully supports the project as a positive,if temporary,addition
to the community that will bring residents and visitors to the Triangle area and help promote both
the community and the arts.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City ofWankee City Council in session this
14th day of November 2005 that it hereby approves the request ofMr.Steve Gerberich to install
a temporary sculpture at Triangle Park for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays,with an
installation date of November 19,2005.
