HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-11-21-Resolutions 05-214_Personnel Policy Handbook - RevisionsTHE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA RESOLUTION 05-214 ) APPROVING THE CHANGE TO THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK,SECTION #310,PAYDAYS AND PAY PERIODS IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA WHEREAS,The Director of Finance has requested a change to the Employee Handbook,Section #310,Paydays and Pay Periods AND, WHEREAS,The City of Waukee currently has 75 full and part time employees and approximately 30 volunteer frre/EMS staff to process payroll for AND, WHEREAS,The Director of Finance has expressed a need to have a greater length of time to complete the semi-monthly payrolls,and has requested pay dates be moved from the 15th and last day of the month,to the 5th and 20th of each month,allowing five days to process timesheets and paychecks, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 21 st day of November,2005 that it hereby approves the change to the Employee Handbook,Section #310,Paydays and Pay Periods to reflect this issuance of the semi-monthly paychecks on the 5th and zo",and maintaining the current pay periods of the frrst through the 15th,and the 16th through the last day of each month.
