RESOLUTION 05-228
APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN A REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION
CORRIDOR STUDY
TN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Representatives of Dallas and Polk Counties arc supporting a Regional
Transportation Corridor Study to identify a key future transportation corridor which
would connect existing State and Federal highways in eastern Dallas and Western Polk
Counties,AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has been requested to participate in said study,AND,
WHEREAS,participation in the Study could lead to long term positive benefits for the
City of Waukee,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5th day of December,2005 that it hereby approves City of Waukee
participation in the proposed Regional Transportation Corridor Study and hereby
appropriates the requested sum of $3,000 to fund the City's participation in the Study.
