RESOLUTION 05-227 I
APPROVING THE SITE PLAN FOR WAUKEE HIGH SCHOOL ADDITION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Site Plan for
Waukee High School Addition on November 22,2005;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Community School District has agreed to install temporary traffic signals on
University Avenue,with the installation of said signals to be completed no later than February 15,
2006;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Community School District has agreed to conduct a traffic count prior to the
spring 2006 closing of University Avenue;AND,
WHEREAS,if the numbers of the above-mentioned traffic count are significantly higher than those
projected in the 2005 traffic study conducted by the Waukee Community School District,then a new 1
traffic study will be required before May 1,2007;if the traffic numbers are not higher,then no
additional traffic study will be required,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa that the
Site Plan for Waukee High School Addition be approved with the landscaping plan as submitted and
the continued use of the type of existing lighting fixtures already in place on the site.
