RESOLUTION 05-232
APPOINTING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE COSTS ASSOCIATED
WITH A RECEPTION FOR OUT-GOING CITY STAFF AND COUNCIL MEMBERS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Mayor Tony Oberman and Council Member Nicholas Gruber will no longer be
serving on the City Council effective December 31,2005;AND,
WHEREAS,Mark J.Arentsen will no longer be the City Administrator/Clerk for the City of
Waukee effective December 31,2005;AND
WHEREAS,these three gentlemen have shown incredible dedication to the City of Waukee in
their respective positions with the City;AND
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council believes that the hard work of such persons who have
served as elected and appointed officials deserves recognition,and that such recognition is a
small reward for the work done for the betterment of the community;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED on this,the 14th day of December 2005,that the City
of Waukee City Council hereby approves the appropriation of funds for the costs associated with
an open house reception to be held on Monday,December 19,2005 at 6:00 p.m.to honor Tony
Oberman,Nicholas J.Gruber,and Mark J.Arentsen,and to recognize their years of service to
the City of Waukee.
