RESOLUTION 05-235
APPROVING THE RECOGNITION OF THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF
OUTGOING CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK MARK J.ARENTSEN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Mark J.Arentsen has served the City of Waukee as City Adnllnistrator!
Clerk from April 1999 through December 2005;AND,
WHEREAS,he has lead the City during a period of record-breaking development and
growth;AND,
WHEREAS,Mark has worked diligently in the annexation of properties,thus extending
Waukee's borders and securing a more unified boundary with neighboring communities;
AND,
WHEREAS,he has dedicated his time and efforts in the promotion of the City as a
desirable community in which to live and work;AND,
WHEREAS,during his employment with the City,Mark has commitment himself to the
betterment of Waukee for all its residents.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa does
hereby approve the recognition of Mark J.Arentsen and thank him for his contributions
to the City of Waukee,this day the 19th of December 2005.
