RESOLUTION 05-86
APPROVING A 15 TON EMBARGO ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE FROM L.A.
GRANT PARKWAY TO WARRIOR LANE AND WARRIOR LANE FROM
ASHWORTH DRIVE TO UNIVERSITY AVENUE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Hubbell development known as Glynn Village is ready to begin the
construction work on their site and by doing so will be hauling in large heavy weight
equipment to do the work;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is making every effort to preserve the existing roads by
placing a 15 ton embargo on University Avenue from L.A.Grant Parkway to Warrior
Lane and Warrior Lane from Ashworth Drive to University Avenue;AND,
WHEREAS,the City will post all of the signs necessary to enforce the embargo;and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa that a 15 ton embargo on University Avenue from L.A.Grant Parkway to Warrior
Lane and Warrior Lane from Ashworth Drive to University Avenue be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 16th day of
May 2005.
