RESOLUTION 05-90 I
APPROVING BRICK GENTRY LAW FIRM AS CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY
OF WAUKEE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,City Attorney Paul Huscher is retiring effective Juue 30,2005;AND,
WHEREAS,a mailing requesting a resume and a letter of interest was sent to prospective
attorneys in the area arouud the City;AND,
WHEREAS,fifteen applications for the city attorney position were received prior to the
closing date;AND,
WHEREAS,of the fifteen,three large firms,the Nyemaster,the Dickinson and the Brick
Firms were selected for Council's review and for the interview process;AND,
WHEREAS,the Couucil after much thought and consideration has voted to approve the
hiring of Brick Gentry Law Firm for fiscal year 2006,

this 6th day of June 2005 that it hereby approves Blick Gentry Law F as the City Attorney for
Waukee,FY2006.
