THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
RESOLUTION 05-91
APPROVING THE WAUKEE HIGH SCHOOL
FOOTBALL CONCESSION STAND
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,The Waukee Schools has presented plans to construct a new concession
stand on the southwest side of the football stadium;AND,
WHEREAS,the Planning &Zoning Commission during its 05-24-05 regular meeting
recommended approval of the building "provided the rear wall is completely covered in
brick,and that brick bands in an accent color be added to mirror the look of the existing
high school building;"AND,
WHEREAS,the school has submitted plans in conformance with the Planning and
Zoning Commissions wishes;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommend approving the Concession Stand.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of June 2005 that it hereby approves the Concession Stand as
approved by P&Z in its 05-24-05 regular meeting.
Be it further resolved that the City Council directs the Planning and Zoning Commission
to reconsider the baseball concession stand (originally approved in May,2004)at its June
14th .meetmg.
