RESOLUTION 05-99 )
APPROVING PAYMENT OF RETAINAGE TO ROGNES CORPORATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $3,678.67
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Rognes Corporation submitted the low bid for the Laurel Street Drainage
Improvement Project and was awarded the contract on October 4,2004;AND,
WHEREAS,the Final Partial Payment Estimate (No.2)was approved for payment during the
May 16,2005 Council meeting;AND,
WHEREAS,Brad Freeman,Engineering Technician recommended issuing a Certificate of
Completion during the May 16,2005 Council meeting;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.Freeman stated in his letter of June 15,2005 that all contract documents were
received and payment of retainage in the amount of $3,678.67 was recommended.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20th day of June 2005 that it hereby approves payment of retainage to Rogues Corporation in the
amount of $3,678.67.]
