APPROVING THE ADDITION TO THE EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK,SECTION
#490,SECTION 125 FLEX SPENDING ACCOUNTS
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has reviewed the non-represented employee benefits at
the recommendation of City Attorney,Jim Brick AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee currently has 16 full time,non-represented employees
AND,
WHEREAS,the Interim City Administrator and Director of Finance has recommended
funding a Section 125 Flex Spending Account,in the amount of $500 for each non-
represented employee,to be used for either medical/dental or dependent day care
expenses,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 10th day of July 2006,that it hereby approves,for a probationary period of
one year,the addition to the Employee Handbook,Section #490,Section 125 Flex
Spending Accounts,to fund each full time,non-represented employees account with
$500,for qualified medical/dental or dependent day care expense reimbursement..I
