RESOLUTION 06-134
ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A 2001 JOHN DEERE 6X4 GATOR
UTILITY VEHICLE WITH TWO-POST ROLL OVER PROTECTION SYSTEM
AND "MED-BED"ATTACHMENT FROM THE WAUKEE FIREFIGHTERS
ASSOCIATION TO THE WAUKEE FIRE DEPARTMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Rotary Club has made a generous donation to the Waukee
Firefighters Association of a 2001 John Deere 6x4 Gator Utility Vehicle with two-post roll
over protection system and "Mod-Bed"attachment;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Firefighters Association desires to donate said equipment to the
Waukee Fire Department so that said equipment will covered under the City of Waukee
general liability and inland marine/auto insurance policies.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 10th day of July 2006 that it hereby accepts a donation from the Waukee Firefighters
Association to the Waukee Fire Department of a 2001 John Deere 6x4 Gator Utility
Vehicle with two-post roll over protection system and "Med-Bed"attachment,and that the
City of Waukee shall add said equipment to its general liability and inland marine/auto
insurance policies.
