RESOLUTION 05-114
APPROVING 211EAGREEMENT WITH THE CITIES OF URBANDALE,
CLIVE,WEST DES MOINES,AND ALTOONA TO PROVIDE FOR THE JOINT
ADMINISTRATION OF SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECTS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,under Chapter 28E of the Code of Iowa,2005,the Cities,as public
agencies,may enter into an Agreement to provide services to the advantage of all
agencies;AND,
WHEREAS,the Public Works Departments of the Cities of Urbandale,Clive,West Des
Moines,Altoona and Waukee have agreed that economies of scale,engineering services,
and administration for small individual projects are to be achieved by a 28E Agreement
for the joint administration of Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Projects;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed 28E Agreement is attached to this resolution and made a part
hereof.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 11th day of July 2005 that it hereby approves the 28E Agreement with the
Cities of Urbandale,Clive,West Des Moines and Altoona.
