RESOLUTION 05-124
APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO THE 2001 WAUKEE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN BY CHANGING THE ZONING DESIGNATION FROM BUSINESS PARK
TO MIXED DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ON A PORTION OF PROPERTY TO BE
KNOWN AS WILLIAMS POINTE II
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,has a Comprehensive
Plan in place to guide the City in its future development;AND,
WHEREAS,the current designation of a large portion of the land to be known as
Williams Pointe II is "Business Park";AND,
WHEREAS,a "Mixed Density Residential"designation would be consistent with the
proposed rezoning of that portion of the property from M-l [Light Industrial District]to a
mix ofR-3 [Rental Multi-Family Residential District],R-3A [Owner-Occupied Multi-
Family Residential District],R-2 [One and Two Family Residential District],and R-4
[Row Dwelling and Townhome District],
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa that the Amendment to the 2001 Waukee Comprehensive Plan is approved to reflect
the rezoning of a portion of property to be known as Williams Pointe II.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the II th day of
July 2005.
