RESOLUTION 06-152
APPROVING THE CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR DAYBREAK
SUBDIVISION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Daybreak Subdivision is currently located within unincorporated Dallas
County,but is within two miles of the City of Waukee's incorporated limits and is included in
the Waukee's proposed 2006 annexation;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Conceptual
Development Plan for Daybreak Subdivision on July 11,2006;AND,
WHEREAS,the Dallas County Planning and Zoning Commission met on July 18,2006 and
recommended approval of the rezoning of Daybreak Subdivision,to be considered by the
Dallas County Board of Supervisors on August 1,2006;AND,
WHEREAS,the developers of Daybreak Subdivision have presented a well-designed and
well-conceived conceptual plan for this development which includes single family homes and
townhomes;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
in session this 24th day of July 2006 that the Conceptual Plan for Daybreak Subdivision is
approved.
