THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
APPROVING FY07 WAGES FOR WAUKEE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTIEMS
CHIEF,ASSISTANT CHIEFS AND STAFF
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,lOW A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service requests an increase in
salaries for volunteer members of the department;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed wage increases have been accounted for in the approved FY07 city
budget;AND,
WHEREAS,the resulting wages for each member is as follows:
Fire Chief $500.00/month (increased from $200.00/month)
Assistant Chief -Fire Division $250.00/month (increased from $200.00/month)
Assistant Chief -EMS Division $250.00/month (new position)
Other volunteer members $8.00/hour (increased from $7.00/hour)
$25.00IEMT-B transport (no increase)
$30.00/EMT-I transport (no increase)
$40.00/EMT-P transport (no increase)
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
24th day of July 2006 that it hereby approves the wage reconunendation for Waukee Volunteer
Fire Department/EMS chief,assistant chiefs and staff.
