RESOLUTION 05-132
APPROVING THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPACE LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH THE WAUKEE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS,the Waukee Community School District purchased a wireless
communication system to aid the districts existing communication system in an efficient
and cost effective manner;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Community School District is requesting permission from the
City of Waukee City Council to lease space temporarily on the water tower for the
installation and operation of the communications antenna,which shall include antennas,
radios,lines and radio power box,connecting cables and appurtenances for use with its
communication system,AND
WHEREAS,the school will remove the communication antennae by November 1,2005
and upon removal ofthe equipment,the school shall restore the affected area to the
conditions which existed prior to the this lease as determined by tile City Engineer in
his/her sole and absolute discretion;AND,
WHEREAS,the school has provided the City with a cash bond in the amount of $5000
to secure the timely performance,covenants and conditions of the lease;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa that tile Telecommunications Space Lease Agreement be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 25th day of
July 2005.
