RESOLUTION 06-173
APPROVAL OF THE LAND SURVEY CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH ENGINEERING
DESIGN SERVICES (EDS)FOR RIDGE POINTE PARK PAVILION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee Municipal Code §303.157(D)requires that neighborhood parks be developed
with on-site improvements including,but not limited to,grading,seeding and planting,picnic area and
shelter,connecting trails and parking;AND,
WHEREAS,Regency Land Development Services has agreed to fund the construction of a pavilion in
Ridge Pointe Park as part of the plat approval for Williams Pointe Plat 4;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has contracted with RDG Planning &Design for the design and
layout of improvements to Ridge Pointe Park;AND,
WHEREAS,a Request for Proposal for a topographic survey of Ridge Pointe Park was sent out by
RDG Planning &Design;AND,
WHEREAS,RDG recommends approval of a Land Survey Contract Agreement with Engineering
Design Services (EDS)for surveying services related to the location of the Ridge Pointe Park pavilion.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee on this the 28th day of
August 2006 that the Land Survey Contract Agreement with Engineering Design Services (EDS)for
the Ridge Pointe Park pavilion is hereby approved.
