APPROVAL OF THE RIDGE POINTE P ARK PAVILION DESIGN AND PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee Municipal Code §303.157(D)requires that neighborhood parks be developed
with on-site improvements including,but not limited to,grading,seeding and planting,picnic area and
shelter,connecting trails and parking;AND,
WHEREAS,Regency Land Development Services has agreed to fund the construction of a pavilion in
Ridge Pointe Park as part of the plat approval for Williams Pointe Plat 4,with the pavilion design and
plan to be done by RDG Planning &Design;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Park Board has reviewed the pavilion design and plan as submitted by RDG
Planning &Design and recommends approval of Design 'A';AND,
WHEREAS,the Park Board requests additional funds from the City,not to exceed $40,000.00 and to
be paid from the parkland dedication fund for the area,in addition to the amount agreed upon to be
paid by Regency Land Development Services so that the pavilion proj ect can be constructed to the
satisfaction of the Board.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee on this the 2nd day of
October 2006 that the Ridge Pointe Park Pavilion Design and Plan,Design 'A,'is hereby approved,
and that an additional amount not to exceed $40,000.00 shall be paid by the City from the parkland
dedication fund for the area to complete the project.
