SETTING FORTH CHECK AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES AND AUTHORIZED
SIGNATORIES FOR THE CITY ACCOUNTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GENERALLY
ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING STANDARDS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Jeffrey Kooistra has been hired as the new City Administrator/Clerk for the City of
Waukee and is starting his employment,October 16,2006;AND,
WHEREAS,Denman &Company advise that accepted accounting standards dictate that the
City assure appropriate checks and balances are in place and that it is appropriate to name the
City Administrator/Clerk,Deputy City Clerk,and the Director of Finance as the authorized
signatories;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that Jeffrey
Kooistra,City Administrator/Clerk be authorized to execute checks on behalf of the City of
Waukee with Rebecca Schuett,Deputy City Clerk,jointly,and that Linda Burkhart,Director of
Finance,continue as alternate signatory,effective on the 16th day of October,200 .
