APPROVAL OF DESIGNATING A CITY BARGAINING REPRESENTATIVE
RESOLUTION 06-17SA
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee will be entering into collective bargaining negotiations with
representative of the Communications Workers of America (CWA)Local 7102,AFL-ClO;
AND,
WHEREAS,State ofIowa Code §20.l7(9)provides for the designation of a bargaining
representative for the purpose of bargaining with public employees or their representative;
AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 16th day of October 2006 that Brick Gentry Law Firm is hereby designated as the City of
Waukee Bargaining Representative pursuant to the provisions of State ofIowa Code
§20.l7(9).
