RESOLUTION 06-12
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR
HEMINGWAY PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
'VHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Final Plat for
Hemingway Plat 1 on November 9,2005 provided all outstanding punch list items are
completed,all legal documents are received and approved prior to City Council consideration,
and no Certificates of Occupancy will be issued until a Certificate of Completion is accepted by
the City Council;AND,
WHEREAS,the developer has provided bonds,easements and legal documents for the plat and
they have been reviewed by both the City Engineer and City Attorney;AND,
WHEREAS,Boardwalk Development seeks to satisfy the parkland dedication provisions ofthe
City Code by donating $90,000 to the Park Department for future park improvements
contemplated by the City subject to the approval by the City Attomey of any and all documents.
releases,agreements and waivers required by the City Attorney of the developer;AND,
WHEREAS,the Final Plat for Hemingway Plat I is in general conformance with section §303 -
Land Subdivision Ordinance ofthe Waukee Municipal Code;and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
that the Final Plat for Hemingway Plat I be approved.
