RESOLUTION 06-08
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENTS TO THE MPO
AND TO THE MPO TTC
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,annually the City of Waukee must appoint or reappoint representatives to
the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the DM area MPO
Transportation Technical Committee (TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has one primary representative and one alternate
representative on both the DM Area MPO and on the DM Area MPO TTC;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William Peard has for the calendar year 2006 appointed himself,to
be the primary representative to the DM Area MPO and has appointed Councilmember
Darlene Stanton to be the alternate representative to the DM Area MPO;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William Peard has for the calendar year 2006 appointed Director of
Community Development Jody Gunderson to be the primary representative to the DM
Area MPO TTC and has appointed Director of Planning Brad Deets to be the alternate
representative to the DM Area MPO TTC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 9th day of January 2006 that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to
the Metropolitan Planning Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning Organization
Transportation Technical Committee.
