THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
RESOLUTION 06-02
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF LARRY J.PHILLIPS AS CHIEF OF
POLICE FOR THE YEAR 2006
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council must appoint a Chief of Police annually;AND,
WHEREAS,Larry J.Phillips has served as the Chief of Police in the City of Waukee
since 1980 with honor,loyalty and great integrity;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council believes that during this time Mr.Phillips has
rendered an invaluable service to the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa does
hereby approve the appointment of Larry 1.Phillips as Chief of Police for the Year 2006,
this day the 9th of January 2006.
