RESOLUTION 06-15
APPROVING RDG PLANNING AND DESIGN TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR KEY
CORNERS AND INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS ALONG THE ALICE'S ROAD
CORRIDOR
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,on November 24,2005 the City of Waukee sent out request for proposals for
professional services to provide street design or entry features located along the Alice's Road
Corridor;AND,
WHEREAS,the city received eight responses from the RFP and interviewed three companies:
RDG Planning Design,Brian Clark &Associates and Dunbar/Jones,AND,
WHEREAS,RDG Planning and Design was selected as the company who would best provide
the professional services requested by the city;AND,
WHEREAS,the professional services for RDG Planning Design would not exceed $40,000 and
will be funded from the TlF Reserves.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council approves RDG
Planning and Design to provide services for key comers and intersection improvements along the
Alice's Road Corridor.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 25th day of January
2006.
