RESOLUTION 06-16
APPROVING VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.PROPOSAL FOR PROVIDING
PROFESSIONAL ENGIEERING SERVICES FOR THE ALICE'S ROAD CORRIDOR
PRELIMINARY SCHEMATIC DESIGN
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is contemplating the establishment of the aligmnent and right-
of-way needs of Alice's Road from University Avenue to Ashworth Road;AND,
WHEREAS,the City will need to establish vertical grades for Alice's Road along the corridor
from University Avenue to Ashworth Road for the purpose of design continuity across the
various parcels of land located along the corridor,AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain Veenstra and Kimm,Inc.to provide professional
engineering services on the project to enable coordination with ongoing development within the
project corridor;AND,
WHEREAS,the City will compensate the Engineers for its services on an hourly basis and
expenses with a not to exceed cost of $24,400.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council approves
Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.to provide professional engineering services for the Alice's Road
Corridor preliminary schematic design.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the zs"day of January
2006.
