RESOLUTION 06-28 ]
APPROVING THE 98TH ST./W ACO PL.REALIGNMENT CONCEPT PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Cities of Waukee and West Des Moines share a common boundary along 98'h
St./Waco Pl.,south of University Ave.;AND,
WHEREAS,as development occurs along the 98'h St./Waco PI.corridor,it becomes necessary
to realign the road in order to replace the square comers with an "S"curve;AND,
WHEREAS,the Cities of Waukee and West Des Moines will need to realign their boundaries to
follow the centerline of98'h St.lWaco PI.once it is constructed;AND,
WHEREAS,a concept plan for the realignment of 98th St./Waco PI.has been presented to the
Waukee City Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED bytheWaukee City Council in session this 27'h day
of February 2006 that it hereby approves the 98'h St./Waco PI.realignment concept plan.
