RESOLUTION 06-25
APPOINTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AS THE ALTERNATE TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF
WAUKEE WITH THE IOWA COMMUNITIES ASSURANCE POOL
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a member of the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (lCAP);
AND,
WHEREAS,the ICAP is the carrier for the City's liability insurance,and as such the City of
Waukee has certain obligations imposed by siguing the Intergovernmental Contract and the rules
and regulations established thereunder;AND,
WHEREAS,the individual and alternate shall act as liaison between the City of Waukee and the
ICAP for the purposes of relating risk reduction and loss control information concerning the City
of Waukee and its obligations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
27'h day of February 2006 that it hereby approves the appointment of the City Administrator as
the individual and the Director of Finance as the alternate to represent the City of Waukee with
the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool.'~If!a.-1f
