RESOLUTION 06-32 1,
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2007 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State oflowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State ofIowa has set March 15 as the date cities must submit a certified
budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY2007 budget,and to
maintain the $13.50 tax rate for the Waukee citizens,for the seventh year in a row AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held March 6,2006 during the regnlarly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY2007
budget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the proposed FY2007 budget and after
receiving citizen input on the FY2007 budget,finds the FY2007 budget fiscally
responsible and responsive to the needs of the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of March 2006 that it hereby approves the proposed FY2007 Budget.
