RESOLUTION 06-36
APPROVING THE 2006 W ATERNIAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Waukee Water Department has set aside money to replace the asbestos/cement
watermain pipes in the older portion of the City;AND,
WHEREAS,the City has established a program to replace the watennain pipes in a specified
area every 2 to 3 years;AND,
WHEREAS,City Staff has identified 5th Street and Cherry Street as the top priority area for this
year's project with School Street and 3rd Street from Ashworth Drive to Northview Drive as an
alternative bid,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the 2006
Watermain Improvement Project be approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 6TH day of March
2006.
