RESOLUTION 06-37
APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
AGREEMENT FOR THE UNIVERSITY AVE.lALICE'S RD.PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee plans to widen University Ave.from Waco PI.west to Alice's
Rd.;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee also plans to realign the intersection of University Ave.and
Alice's Rd.;AND,
WHEREAS,in order to proceed with the construction,the City of Waukee and the Union
Pacific Railroad must mutually agree to a New At-Grade Public Road Crossing Agreement;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney and City staff have reviewed the agreement and find it
reasonable.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council in session this 9th day
of March 2006 that it hereby approves the acceptance of the Union Pacific Railroad Agreement
for the University Ave.lAlice's Rd.project.
