RESOLUTION 06-43
APPROVING THE HIRING OF THE PAR GROUP FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONDUCTING THE SEARCH,RECRUITMENT,SCREENING,INTERVIEWS FOR
CANDIDATES FOR CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has been operating with an interim city administrator/clerk
since January 1,2006;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council held interviews with representatives of three different
firms that had submitted proposals to help guide the City in their search for the best candidates
for the city administrator/clerk position;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council discussed the interviewees and determines that The PAR
Group should be hired as a consultant for the purpose of providing services for the review and
appointment of the replacement City Administrator for the City of Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20tl1 day of March 2006 that it hereby approves the hiring of The PAR Group for the purpose of
conducting performing certain services related to the ultimate appointment of a permanent city
administrator/clerk,and the Mayor and Interim City Administrator are authorized to execute the
agreement with The PAR Group on behalf of the City.
