RESOLUTION 06-70
APPROVAL OF A TRAINING EXPENSE AND PAYMENTIREIMBURSEMENT
CONTRACT WITH KATIE CROSS,WAUKEE FIRE DEPARTMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Katie Cross is a volunteer member of the Waukee Fire Department;AND,
WHEREAS,Ms.Cross desires to take continuing education classes in order to obtain
certification as a paramedic specialist;AND,
WHEREAS,the City agrees to advance up to $5,050.00 to Ms.Cross to be used for
training and education in the pursuit of said certification;AND,
WHEREAS,if Ms.Cross ceases to be a member of the Waukee Fire Department within
a period of two (2)years after completing training,or fails to receive said certification
within six (6)months of payment,the full amount of the advance must be repaid to the
City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa in session this 17th day of April 2006,that the Training Expense and Payment/
Reimbursement Contract with Katie Cross,Waukee Fire Department,be approved.
