RESOLUTION 06-92
APPROVING THE FIREWORKS PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE DES MOINES
MENACE FOR A DISPLAY IN CENTENNIAL PARK ON MAY 6,2006 BETWEEN
THE HOURS OF 9:45 P.M.AND 11:00 P.M.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Alan Oatsvall,General Manager of the Des Moines Menace soccer team,has
requested a Fireworks Permit;AND,
WHEREAS,a completed Fireworks Permit Application has been submitted to the City,along
with a $10.00 permit fee and a Certificate of Liability Insurance;AND,
WHEREAS,Fire Chief Clint Robinson has approved the fireworks display to be conducted by
J&M Displays.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa in
session this 4th day of May 2006 that it hereby approves the Fireworks Permit Application for the
Des Moines Menace for a display in Centennial Park on May 6,2006 between the hours of 9:45
p.m.and 11:00 p.m.
